BL = Back Loop

BP = Back Post

BPhdc = half double crochet around the back of the post of the stitch below

Ch = chain

Ch-sp = Chain space

CL = Cluster

dc = double crochet

FL = Front Loop

FP = Front Post

FPhdc = half double crochet around the front of the post of the stitch below

hdc = half double crochet

lp(s) = loop(s)

sc = single crochet

sl st = slip stitch

t-ch = turning chain

tr = triple (treble) crochet

yoh = yarn over hook (UK)
