Over the years that I’ve been a hobbyist, then a professional knitter and crocheter, I’ve developed this theory: yarn crafts are a connective vessel, bringing together people who may never have met under any other circumstances. Because of this tangible thing—yarn and needles or hook in hands—that brings us a sense of calm and accomplishment, we’re in a place of openness to invite otherwise unlikely community into our lives.
It’s my commitment to foster that climate of connectedness by creating an inclusive space. Stitchwell Social Club promises to nurture a community of knitters and crocheters who strive to work with gorgeous yarns, learn new things, make cool stuff, and support one another.
