Hi Vicki..I am so happy you are on a book tour.Unfortunately I live in the small town of Lake Havasu, AZ so I won’t get the treat of meeting you. Thanks to the magic of TIVO I never miss the show. Thanks for continuing to inspire us to get our knit on!!! Stephanie Karshner …
As I am not Sweet Sixteen any more nor a size 2, I wish you would also have a few projects that are more appropriate for those of us who are a little older and need to wear a bra all the time. In other words, not so revealing or close cut!
Knit on– I have been knitting for about 49 years–O my G-D!!!!!
Hey Vickie!
It was awesome to meet you tonight at Full Thread Ahead. You are delightful to talk with and I really loved getting to meet you in such an intimate setting.
Here is the link to the socks that I am knitting: http://www.keyboardbiologist.net/Patterns/WhiskersPawPrintsSocks.htm
The pattern is written top down but I just used the chart and did them toe up (and did my my usual toe pattern instead of the fancy ones in the pattern). They are super fast to knit, mostly I think it is because of the slipped stitch for the “whisker” part of the pattern (when you’re doing the leg, there are rows where you don’t knit half of the stitches because of the slipping the stitch part!).
Anyways, I loved meeting you and I can’t wait until I get another opportunity to talk with you again!!

Hey Vickie, I will be bringing my 6 year old daughter to meet you and get your kids book (we LOVE it!) signed, Oh I do hope you will have some of your new line with you, I can’t wait to touch milk *fiber* and find out what it is!
