Over the years that I’ve been a hobbyist, then a professional knitter and crocheter, I’ve developed this theory: yarn crafts are a connective vessel, bringing together people who may never have met under any other circumstances. Because of this tangible thing—yarn and needles or hook in hands—that brings us a sense of calm and accomplishment, we’re in a place of openness to invite otherwise unlikely community into our lives.

Kicking off with a recorded, eye-candy presentation, I share the scoop then distill it down to how it realistically applies to knitters and crocheters and what related skill-building techniques we’ll focus on for the month.
