Show us your knits!
Hey, ladies (& possibly, gents)! It’s that time again, to put a call out for pictures of FOs for our Knitters Gallery. If you’ve made something from New Knits on the Block, Not Another Teen Knitting Book, a pattern or kit from my Shop or Blog, and/or using one of the Vickie Howell Collection yarns, then we wanna see it! Reader Micky, just sent this shot of her little girl modeling the Formality Scarf which made me so happy, I had to share it here! Isn’t she the cutest?! And the scarf ain’t half bad, either. 😉
Anybody finish the Mae Day dress, yet? The Rosie Posie bag? Blue Collar ascot? Perhaps, the Sayuri shrug? Well then, we wanna see it! OK So I read your blog and I’m like oh fun, wait I still haven’t finished the class tassel hat(got into sock binge). So I pulled it out yesterday to finish it and then I notice that Rnds 21-22 say “With CC, knit size size size all sts” Now just to check my common sense meter I’m just suppose to knit all the sts right? You can laugh at me now:)I’ll send you the pic when its done.
I’m just waiting for my yarn order from Webs and I’ll be casting on for the Mae Day dress and the Daddy-O vest. I can’t wait!
I’m in the middle of making the Sayuri shrug and for some reason I’m having trouble with the sleeves. I have a quick question, when you say “sk3, sc”, do you mean skip 3 stitches and single crochet in the forth stitch, or in the third stitch? I know it is probably sooooo simple, but I am in the pre-wedding-less-than-a-month-to-go fog!!! 😀
