For those of you who’ve ordered copies of Knit Aid from me, the shipment finally arrived last night. Rebecca came over today and we got them signed, packed and ready-to-go, factory style! They’ll go out tomorrow so you’ll have them soon, my pretties. 🙂
Thanks for your patience. I know it’s a bummer that Amazon & B&N sent them out so much earlier than I am but you know, they have pre-set accounts for 1000s of books so they get their stuff first. Thanks for supporting the little gal! 😉
That said, I’m already completely sold out (holy cow!) You’re best bet now, if you haven’t already bought a copy but would like one, is to head on over here.
Thanks again everyone. You all, rock the knitsbah! 😉
I loved the youtube video highlighting the book and I’m soo bummed that I procrastinated about pre-ordering a copy. Are planning to tour to promote the book in the near future? If so, please let me know if Charlotte, NC is on the list. Thanks soo much!
Got my copy in the mail to day. Thank you! I’m about half way through it. I’m impressed with the easy to follow instructions. It’s so not intimidating. -Sara
Got my fab book today – and it truly ROCKS!! You’ve hit all those “dang it I’m not home to look this up and I really don’t know what to do” moments when you’re at the baseball field knittin’ away! LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Thanks again for the signed copies! Cindy M – Mission Viejo, California
Pam–I’m not going to tour for this book. The time away last year was a wee bit hard on the fam and didn’t really sell books. I will be at TNNA in Ohio next month though. I’ll keep you posted if something changes. The Craft Yarn Council’s near Charlotte so who knows, I could end up there at some point for a visit!
Cindy–Thank you so much! Seriously, I appreciate hearing that.

Dear YarnYAY! Community & Supporters,
It’s with all of the feels, and a deep breath, that I announce that month’s will be the last monthly box, as we begin the process of closing YarnYAY! by Vickie Howell.
Five and a half years ago, this business essentially fell into my lap. I was just wrapping a tour promoting the launch of The Knit Show, and in the middle of writing my 13th book, The Knit Vibe when an executive from CrateJoy approached me about co-founding a subscription box for knitters. The arm of their company that ran subscription box businesses with creators and entrepreneurs who already had a following would handle the capital, fulfillment, customer service and sourcing. I would be in charge of project design, pattern writing, product curation, marketing, media content, and anything else creative. I had longtime been wanting to add a retail aspect to my overall offerings, but with a very full plate hadn’t yet figured out a viable, responsible way to do that. This seemed ideal.

Have you met her? This is final shade of VH Montoya Merino, Sputnik Spruce, and she’s practically perfect in every way. Hand-dyed by the amazing @spunrightround I could not love this non-traditional, holiday palette more!
Get this limited edition run of Sputnik Spruce in the YarnYAY! December box. Now available at YarnYAY.com (link in bio)!
Second only to the #dollyparton costume exhibit, a highlight of our trip to Nashville was a tour of @hatchshowprint . I wanted to move in! *sigh* Block printing is dreamy. 😍...
Ok, reposting the December Unboxing, because it looks like I chose the wrong posting option last time, so only 90 seconds came through. The vid’s 7 minutes, so hopefully this time it works! (It’s posted in full on my Facebook page, YouTube, and YarnYAY.com, too.) Thanks for your patience!...
Cool beans! Can’t wait to get mine!
thanks for responding so fast to my inquiry.
Can’t wait to get it.
