Photo Recap: Long-Distance Shawlette KAL

Out of nine (so far!) Stitch.Rock.Knit-alongs, I have to say that the one for the Long-Distance Shawlette ranks near top for me. It’s been so fun watching knitters’ excitement over their success with lace work, their shawlettes being made (and finished!), and then modeled (mostly bandit-style) in all of their, lacy-cool glory! I hope stitchers will bookmark this pattern (from Knit Simple Magazine, Spring ’14) as a go-to project for future gift and accessory needs. Make one in every color ( of *cough* Bernat Cotton-ish by Vickie Howell) to add a pop of texture and design to any outfit! In the meantime, though here’s a round-up of just some of the photos from the KAL on Facebook and Ravelry. Enjoy! xx, Vickie

Pro Tip: Use the same pattern (adding more or less row repeats) with different weights of yarn for a completely different effect!
