Oops, I knit it again!

After all of these months, I finally took a look at the Brimster pattern people have been e-mailing me about and realized that I accidentally posted the version that hadn’t been technical edited. Nice. Considering my utter lack of anything that could even remotely be construed as a math skill, I can see why folks were having problems with knitting this project up. Sorry about that! The proper version is now up so…Knit on!

In other snaffoo news, for those of you who bought the Mae Day sun dress pattern last week, please note that Row 6 of the smocking stitch pattern, is missing. It should read:
Row 6: Repeat row 2.
The error has been fixed in the downloadable pattern.

Sorry for the suckiness.

Hope we’re still B/F/F’s for always! 😉

xo,
Vickie

P.S. Did anyone watch the special, Craft in America on PBS last night? It was very cool and really built a bridge between “art” & “craft”.

I wanted to watch the PBS special, but my son Tristen insisted on watching A night at the Museum. Another good show though. hopefully it will rerun. Thanks for the error update. The dress is my next project after the end of a stash game I am in.

hello vickie howell- I think you’re awesome and my question is really off topic (sort-of) there was a pattern called hopeful written by Jenna Adorno that was featured on your show. Is there any way to still get it? Thanks, Amanda

I am sure all is forgiven.
I can’t wait till my kit gets here.
    I got the formality.
The postman left a pick-up slip in the box, so I am hoping that’s what it is.

I watched it, and recorded it. I loved it. It was very sensitively done. I have been fighting the “craft vs art” stigma for a long time. (Having a BFA in Textiles still doesn’t seem to erase the issue!) It’s all in the attitude, I guess.

    Thanks for being you!
