Swiss Miss Cardi, shown in color: Yellow(ish)
My latest Sheep(ish) design is up on Caron.com today! The Swiss Miss Cardi, is a swingy little number that’s perfect to throw on over a sundress on a summer night, or some shorts to cut the beach chill. The smocked bodice adds a sweet, vintage feel to it while the 2-button closure takes away the fuss of getting a toddler to stand still for longer than a few seconds!
Get all the yarn you need to make this cardigan, for under $10 at a JoAnn Etc. or at Buy.Caron.com.

Love the color it’s worked in! Like buttah.
That is such a cute cardigan – love the yellow. And great idea to go with only the number of buttons needed – kids just don’t stand still long enough for any more!
That is a beautiful cardigan! I can’t wait to try the sheepish yarn!
I have to tell you, I love your patterns, I have used several of yours that I get in my Caron newsletter. I’m currently working on Urban Renewal and I completed Urban Jungle a little bit ago.
Thank you for the free patterns!
Thank you so much for saying, that! I’m glad you made UJ–make sure to share a pic!
Hi, vickie getting ready to knit miss swiss, but have a question is there also smock stitches on the back? I would like to knit the back in stockinette stitch. This will be my first sweater for my granddaughter. Also I am new to reading charts and directions.I just started to knit this past year with scarves and hats, prayer shawls, etc. I really would appreciate your help since she wants this sweater. I have purchased the yarn already and will make a size 6 since she is five. Thank you! angie
