Wes Anderson’s Fantastic Mr. Fox is a delightful amalgamation of classic story, off-beat humor and appreciation for whimsy all capped off by creatures in tiny sweaters! Here are a few foxy shots of knitted pieces.
“Mr. Fox” (voiced by George Clooney) Wearing a Ribbed Beanie/Ski Mask
Rat Wearing a Stockinette Stitch, Striped Pullover
“Ash” (voiced by Jason Schwartzman) Wearing a Chunky Knit Cardigan
Recommended Knitting:
Shady Beanie, by me for Caron
Playtime Stripe Sweater, by Louisa Harding
NaturallyCaron.com’s Mumbai Cropped Jacket, by Ann E. Smith
Jess Jacket, by Anna Bell
Happy viewing; happy knitting!

Watched “Fantastic Mr. Fox” last night. It was so cute!
Caron mentioned your site.
Here is a movie mystery for you: If you have seen “Johnny Belinda” starring Jane Wyman, you will have seen many interesting hand-made items of apparrel. Agnes Moorehead wears a very interesting shrug that I would love to make myself — but I do not recognize the stitch. Can you tell me how to find out more?
I’ll add Johnny Belinda to my Netflix and give it a looksee. Thanks for the rec!
