The holidays aren’t the same without at least one screening of cult classic, A Christmas Story.
The movie’s filled with child-like whimsy, adult-level sarcasm and plenty of knitwear making it a trifecta of holiday goodness. Here are just a few of the pieces featured.
Peter Billingsley as “Ralphie”, wearing a Ribbed Hat with Pom-Pom
R.D. Robb as “Schwartz”, wearing a Striped Stocking Cap
Ian Patrella as “Randy”, wearing a Ribbed Scarf

Happy viewing; happy knitting!

I hadn’t seen this movie since before I was knitting, and seeing it now I had fresh eyes! I immediately thought “Hey! Vickie should feature this on Movie Monday!’ So glad you did 🙂
One thing I thought was interesting, Ralphie and Randy’s mom’s sweater looks machine-knit.
I watched The Ballet Shoes today and wow, so many berets, “jumpers”, scarfs, etc etc. Lovely.
I really like to see that movie, the story sounds funny, apart from that I love Christmas then this movie would be perfect for me.
yeah you are right.
