Midwest Leg of Tour
Happy Sunday, party people! I leave in the morning for the next leg of the Knitty Gritty Knits tour. This portion only involves a couple of cities because of a holiday special shoot I’m meeting the other DIY craft hosts in Vermont for, mid-week. I’m coming to the Chicago one, and I am looking forward to meeting you. I have my book, and I must say it is very well put together, congrats!
Hello Vada,
I watch your show often and I don’t knit but I do crochet a lot, I am 41 and have enjoyed this since I was 17 years old.I see that you have done a little on your show. I was wondering if you’ll ever come out west and give us Las Vegas folks a chance to meet you? Or just maybe you can teach a really cool crochet project. Can’t wait to hear. Don’t be a stranger.
You know……. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!
I’d love to see ya do something in our Vibrant city full of color and excitement!

Drat. Looks like I might have seen you in Seattle if I had looked just a little earlier. At least now I know why there was such a huge stack of Knitty Gritty Knits books at Pacific Fabric and Crafts in Seattle. My wife and I went there so i could pick up an armload of yarn for a sweater and she is the one who pointed out the books.
Ah well, maybe next time.
Come on down Atlanta way. The weather is nice in the winter and southern hospitality is the best.
Gar! I’ve been so busy I haven’t checked my blogs…and I look to see that you were in my town (Chicago) TWO DAYS ago! Pesky job!
Jess (of JFGI wrist warmer fame)
Oh , I am so excited! I live in Tempe Az, and found out you will be at SW Trading Company on Feb 26. Is that right? I just bought the book, and the people at Tempe Yarn and Fiber told me that you would be in town!! They said they will be selling lots of your yarn that day too.

Thank you Vickie for taking the time to talk to me at the Knit Out event at the Mall of America in Minnesota. You looked fabulous and did a fantastic job emceeing the fashion show. I posted a few pics of you on my blog http://www.knottygeneration.com

I am coming to the Denver launch. It will be fun to meet you and welcome you to Denver – a knitter’s mecca.
Vada–I was so touched that you drove all that way to see me. Thanks!
Lisa-I was in Vegas last year but am not sure when I’ll be there next. My friend’s also trying to get me to go though, so maybe…
Brian–Sorry I missed you! This is probably a moot point now but, if you subscribe to this blog then updates will come directly to your inbox!
Debby- I was in Atlanta last year, too! Drat, I’m not timing these things well. 😉
Jess- Dang it! Maybe you should start FG my name. LOL!
Rosa- Yes, I will be in AZ at SWTC on the 26th. Please stop by!
amyroz-That day was crazy! Thanks for coming out!
Terri lynn- I actually lived in Broomfield until I was 8, so I’m totally looking forward to coming back to the Denver area.
I promise I’ll post about the last leg of the trip tomorrow. I have the rest of a scarf to knit today so that it can go out in the mail tomorrow. Must. Step away. From the computer.
xo,
Vic
Vickie! I’m a huge fan of yours and I watch your show daily… well I did… anyways I’m a college student and we do not get DIY on our campus, so I was so happy when it started playing on HGTV, because we DO get HGTV… unfortunately, they have now changed it to 6:00 AM!!!! I’m a college student who needs that extra hour of sleep… 🙂 not to mention it’s only three days a week instead of five… is there anything you can do?
Awesome show, awesome book, keep it up!!! 🙂
Oh, poo! I wish I would have seen this earlier…I sooooo would have come to see while you where here in Chicago. I hope the rest of your tour goes well. Big fan of the show…just need to talk hubby into buying a TIVO so I don’t miss anything!
You Rock! Thanks for hitting the MOA in MN! I’m a huge fan! I was a little shakey(nerves?), but the supportive hug is all my kids have been hearing about! I can’t wait until my LYS gets some of your goods!! Thanks soo much! Becca
Oh please stop by Omaha, NE! We need you!!
Welcome to Denver Vicki!
My knittin’ buddy (Tamara) and I will be at the Lamb Shoppe tonite to greet and meet you. We love your show and are excited about your new yarns! Denver is a real mecca for knitters and you will love this shop! See you soon.
