Lacy Herringbone Stitch
Lacy Herringbone Stitch
It’s too darn hot here in Austin to do much making of anything, really. The only thing that seems bearable is working with linen and cotton, and knitting lace.
This week on Ask Me Monday, we focus on the Lacey Herringbone stitch, a lovely open-weave pattern that’s easy enough to not be messed with by the brain-fog created by relentless temperatures. Watch the episode, then put your skills to work by swatching, using the washcloth pattern I’ve posted below, or nabbing one of our YarnYAY! August Boxes which includes supplies and the pattern for Lacy Herringbone Stitch placemats and coasters. Enjoy!

Hey Vickie!!
I have several groups for loom knitters and I would really like very much to see if you are interested in adding patterns to the YarnYay subcription box for loom knitting patterns? I asked Kristen Mangus who said she would love to work with you in converting patterns in your box to add for loom knitters. It would be opening another large group of loomers to enjoy your sub box and be able to create what you are providing for needle knitters and crocheters. We are often left out and currently there is no loom knitting monthly box.
I have been watching you for so many years and wanted to ask you first!!
Please let me know if this is something you would consider doing it would be adding pattern for loom knitters as the rest of the box should have all needed but for pattern to a loom knitter.
Thanks so much!!
Keep on including us yarn creators plz!!
Hope to hear back soon.
Always
Happy looming
