“VH: What’s your favorite thing about crafting?

KCM: It’s a way to express things that I’m happy about. Because I’m so passionate, I have a lot of highs and lows–crafting is such a strong outlet to release all of that in a visual way. I love making people happy with things I craft, and using bright colors to surprise people and cheer them up. I love that I can make a living from crafting, and it requires coming up with different things and staying a step ahead of what everyone else is doing. Even the time it takes to sit and make something is special. Granted, not everything turns out perfect, but that’s the fun of it. When something turns out the way you want it to, you appreciate it more.”
