Knitting Daily TV with Vickie Howell is Now Airing!

I was thrilled seeing people’s tweets and Facebook posts last week letting me know that Knitting Daily TV with Vickie Howell began airing in certain cities! This whole public television gig — no standard start date and time for PBS affiliates across the nation — is a new experience for me, so I appreciate the heads up. Apparently stations can pick-up and air the show at any point from last week on, so if you see it on the schedule in your neck of the woods, please give a shout (@vickiehowell or #kdtv). All that to say, here are the cities that I know for sure currently have it on their schedule :

  • New York
  • Los Angeles
  • Chicago
  • Dallas
  • San Francisco
  • Washington D.C.
  • Detroit
  • Phoenix
  • Seattle
  • Austin (starts 1/28)

Be sure (purty please) to check your local PBS affiliate to see when/if the show’s on their schedule! Don’t want to wait for TV? No problem! You can buy individual episodes or the full season in the Knitting Daily shop.

I can’t wait to be “in” your living rooms again, soon! (That sounded creepy, but you know what I mean. ;-))

    Hope Oklahoma is on the list eventually! Don’t know what the crap has happened to all of the crafting shows and they are sure more enjoyable than all of the reality shows! Good luck!

    I just looked at my local PBS web schedule and Knitting Daily is not airing. I put in a comment to please get it asap. I’m not sure how to go about getting this accomplished. If you have any ideas let me know. Good Luck on the show!

    I’m so disappointed that Houston is not on the list. Are there plans for Houston in the future.

    on the show (I think the show number was 1202) you had on a stripped poncho, chevron multi color. is there a pattern for that? it was really cute and I would like to make one.

    Your website states that Knitting Daily with Vickie Howell is airing in DetroitPBS 56. I have searched and we are still seeing old shows-great, but looking for the new episodes! When can we expect them to start?

    I just found YOU on Public TV in Charlotte, NC area. Thank you Vickie for showing crochet at a slow pace with a great camera view. I love to knit but I have stayed away from trying crochet because every other person went so fast and said something like do five double half crochet in 3 chain, then BAM fly through it. Thank you Thank you Thank you. I so happy!

    We get your show here in The Big D (Dallas) Caught an episode this morning. Looking forward to more. I missed how to find the pattern for the grey knitted hat. Any chance of getting the link to the patter?

    i have ATT Uverse in SW Oh. I looked at my guide and do not find any station that carries KD. Can you find a station in the area thAt caries KD?

      So, unfortunately, the show is in re-runs only, which means they could be airing any season at any time. Here’s a link to the latest season, though. You just click on the individual episode for pattern links.
