GAUGE

36 sts x 48 rows = 4″/10 cm in Mistake Rib blocked

PREPARATION

If you’re using a yarn other than Uneek Sock that already comes this way, split and wind the hank of self-striping yarn into two even balls.

DIRECTIONS

CO 55 sts.

Row 1: *K2, p2; rep from * to last 3 sts, k2, p1.

Repeat Row 1 until the piece measures 42″/107 cm from CO edge, or until you run out of yarn from the first ball.

Join a new ball, taking care to pull from whichever end of the ball produces the SAME color that you just finished with (you’ll want to end with the same colors you started with at the beginning of the piece so that both ends of the scarf match.)

Repeat Row 1 until the piece measures 84″/213 cm, or until you’re almost out of yarn.

BO.

FINISHING

Weave in ends. Block.
