Radiant Orchid for 2014!

It’s that season again when Pantone announces the Color of the Year, and the whole design world goes shade crazy. This year’s winner is: Radiant Orchid — a subjective shade of purple that can vary in intensity as much as its namesake flower. I was thrilled to open up Joann.com‘s ode to Orchid e-blast last weekend to find amongst the lilac love, a few of my own items included:  the Sheep(ish) Stripes Hexi Baby Blanket pattern, and both Sheep(ish) and Cotton-ish yarn!

I haven’t had a chance to do my own yet, but the Yarnspirations teams has put together a Pinterest board of positively, purple projects.  Click on the image to see the full board with pattern and supply links!
