Gaga for Prada! Their 2023 series of crocheted raffia bags inspired me so much that I couldn’t resist designing my own (*cough*, more fiscally accessible) take for DIYers.

The Nada Crochet Tote is worked in filet crochet with a chevron motif (a subtle nod to the iconic brand’s triangle logo), the with half-double crochet side panels for durability, this bag gives retro-chic vibes. Nada Prada, but hella cool!
MATERIALS
Wool & The Gang Ra-Ra-Raffia (100% Paper, 273 yd, 100g), 2 rolls. –or equivalent raffia yarn
US G-6 / 4 mm hook — or size needed to obtain gauge
Tapestry needle
Clips or pins for seaming

15” / 38 cm wide x 3” / 7.5 cm deep x 16”/ 41 cm tall, excluding handles.
GAUGE
15½ sts x 6 rows = 4”/10 cm in filet crochet.
