Hey, Donnie Darko fans: writer/director Richard Kelly made another, under appreciated movie with a theme that’ll sneak up on you long after you’ve finished screening it. If you get a moment, Netflix The Box (both for it’s smart screenplay and it’s yarnwear appearances). If you don’t like it, I may start to doubt your commitment to Sparkle Motion.
Tragedy occurs between Cameron Diaz & James Marsden as “Norma” & “Arthur”. Behind them though, is a rippled crochet afghan.
Gillian Jacobs (aka Britta from “Community”) as “Dana”,
wearing a Crocheted Collar.

Happy viewing; happy hooking!

What an interesting juxtaposition of lovely crocheted handi-work and deep dark emotions!
i just saw this movie over the weekend – totally grooved on the knits and the 70s home decor.
