Big Announcement: I’m Moving to Bernat!
Hey, all! As you may know at the end of last year Caron International joined the Spinrite family, which also includes yarn greats: Patons, Bernat and Lily Sugar & Cream. Since then, we’ve been working behind the scenes getting to know each other and planning an exciting future filled with new products, community outreach events, education initiatives and all kinds of free pattern goodness!
As part of our first initiative though, I have a big announcement: I’m getting new digs! As of July 17, 2012, I’ll be moving over to Bernat Yarns as their International Spokesperson. Vickie Howell Sheep(ish) and all future products are joining me for the ride as well — although it’ll take a while for the labels to reflect that.
Other than that though, nothing else will change. Sheep(ish)’s fiber content, colors and quality will remain the same, and my participation in web events, trend spotting, magazine columns and how-to scoop will all remain “business as usual.” The only difference being, location. Same bat time, different bat station.
Thank you so much Caron readers, for the support over the past two and a half years that I’ve been coming at you, Caron style. Your comments, participation in “a-longs” and messages through Twitter, Facebook, Flickr and Ravelry have been wonderful — and I hope will continue! Please join me by “Liking” the Bernat Facebook page and logging on to Bernat.com. We promise to keep the projects and events coming!
It’s been my privilege to be the face of Caron since 2010, and like a good sister I’ll continue cheering for them from my new, Bernat home.
Stitch.Rock.Love,
Vickie
Vickie,
Is there a pattern available for the darling magenta cowl you are wearing in your new Bernat photo?
Congrats! Can’t wait to see your fabulous new projects! 🙂
Congrats!!!
I tried placing an order using the discount code and the discount isn’t applied.
Should be fixed now. Sorry about that!
I hope this means I’ll see Sheepish on the ground near me. Michael’s here definitely carries Bernat yarns.
Where are you located?
So happy for you! I hope you have many happy years with Bernat.
