In an effort to support designers in a meaningful way and breathe fresh air into our monthly box pattern selections, each year we team up with a couple of talented folks to be our Designers in Residence. Each will be featured every month for six of our cornerstone boxes. We’re excited to announce who we’ll work with in 2023 — let’s say, hello!
Spring/Summer 2023 Designer In Residence: Afifa Sayeed
Born in Pakistan and educated in Asia, Europe, and the United States, Afifa’s work is influenced by her multi-national upbringing. Passionate about bringing together elements of classic design from a variety of sources to create something new and original, she brings a modern sensibility and love of construction to the art of knitting. Fall/Winter Designer In Residence: Gavriella
Gavriella is a knit and crochet designer based in Texas. She enjoys all the cozy things and is a true homebody. She enjoys creating aesthetically pleasing content and transfers these joys into her inclusive designs. Follow her on Instagram.
Subscribers will receive a pattern for a design by Gavriella in every monthly box from July-December!
