I’ve been crafting since a very young age. My mother made me take art and sewing classes as soon as I could hold a paintbrush. I thank her now. As a crafter, I take delight in the little things – those little things for me include decoupaging paper and embellishments such as buttons and ribbons. I love recycling surfaces and making them bolder the second time around. I’ve learned that it doesn’t take much to make a project special. Decoupage is not just big in my life – today’s decoupage crafter can delight in such projects as putting scrapbooking paper on fan blades or attaching fabric to a notebook. It’s such an easy way to get crafting, and only requires a little bit of paint and a jar of Mod Podge!
