Whenever life feels out of control, making something with my hands and simple materials is tremendously comforting. I define the scope and the success of the endeavor and I have a tangible thing to show for my efforts.
I prefer things with a small scope and a portable nature. King sized quilts– right out. Knitted dishrags– totally, completely in.
