My Mother taught me to knit when I was a young teenager, and then I learned how to crochet when I was 20 and expecting my first daughter. I haven’t put my crochet hook or knitting needles down since! I’ve written many patterns, and have had some of my designs published in various crochet magazines, and 4 books of my designs published by Leisure Arts, Inc.
I have made so many wonderful friends all over the globe through crochet! Ann, from France, is my newest cyber-friend. She’s the customer for whom I designed the Granny Square Jacket. We stayed in touch and now enjoy a wonderful friendship through e-mail and facebook.
I’m a member of Crochetville (username Shelleden), where a CAL is going on with my “Shawler” crochet pattern.
