New Knitty Gritty Everyday on HGTV!
This just in...February 1st-19th, HGTV will air brand-spankin' new Season 6 episodes of Knitty Gritty, EVERY DAY! That's right, 13 more episodes , no reruns, on every weekday, for almost 3 weeks. Here's the episode schedule:<

Thank God! I e-mailed last week to complain that they had run the same episode twice in the span of a couple of weeks. I wish we still had DIY. They dropped it just before the new episodes starting airing. Guess I'll enjoy it while I can!
Left my comment to HGTV. Hopefully they will decide to keep you. So far I am lucky enough to see you 2x a day. Once on HGTV and once on DIY. I DVR them and watch them in the evening after the tot has headed to bed.

Vickie! I had to give up my DirecTV with DIY Network when we moved to a town home that only allows cable. I was ABSOLUTELY THRILLED to see that HGTV has Knitty Gritty on at 10 am central time each day. Even though I've seen repeats, it's SO worth it! I'm always so inspired by your show. I wrote HGTV and asked them to keep showing KG for me. :)
I'm so excited! I've learned so much from the shows and am thirsty for more. I'll definitely fill out the HGTV form - thanks so much!
I too left comments for HGTV a couple of days ago. I'm also one of the lucky ones who gets to DVR two episodes a day!
~tonia~ I do the exact same thing. Only my husband has started watching it with me. [And he promises it's not just to see Vickie's cuteness.]
Last night, my 2yo caught a second wind at bedtime and couldn't fall asleep so she got in bed with me and watched it too. When a new episode would start she would smile and say "There's Vickie!"
I've started calling the show "Everybody Loves Vickie". haha
I get "Everybody Loves Vickie" twice a day too! Can't get thru the day without it : )
Shared the fun names of the new "LOVE" yarn with hubby and made him guess all the couples! TOTALLY 80's GIRL!! LOVE IT!!

Yippiee!! DIY plays tons of repeat episodes - I'm so glad new episodes are coming out on HGTV!! Now I just wish they would sell your show series on DVD!!

You do a great show Vickie I am so glad I found it. I have a question. there was a lady on your show that did a rectangle poncho. I can not find the pattern for it on dyi. All I find is for the liberty shawl and the poncho with ribbon that is not the one. All I need to know is how many sts to cast on and how many rows.

I left my comment w/HGTV too, hope they keep it there. I can't afford the required cable upgrade to get DIY. Being a new knitter, this show has been a real godsend. It's amazing how many times I'll have a question or wonder about a technique, only to see it on the show within a day or two (I tape them all to watch when I get home from work)! We're forming a knitting group here in town, and I'm telling everyone to watch!

Wow, I just started watching your show when it was put on HGTV a few months ago. I don't get DIY on my extended basic service. And I'm sorry to say that I won't be upgrading!! I wish your show would stay on HG. The nice crafty break has been a breath of fresh air in recent months and I will miss it. Drat. Sometimes I feel like the projects on your show are not things I would actually knit, but I enjoy knitting along while watching, even if I'm just doing my own thing. Your show is FUN, no matter what the project is.
I'm trying to find a pattern for doing the curly swirls that hang down the side of hats. I have looked and asked and can't find it. Can anyone here help me? Thanks!
