You outdid yourself this month!!!!!
Well done, have finished first pair in black & white, now my daughter wants purple & black, red & black ...... and her friend is admiring them. I can see I will be making these for weeks to come.

Vicky, thanks for your patterns. I enjoy them. I need information on the Sally's favorite summer sweater. The pattern at diynetwork has no gauge info, and the instructions are only for the small size. Could you tell me where to get the complete pattern, please?? thank you!!!
Thanks guys!
Dianne--Would love to see pictures!
Anonymous2--That pattern is is Sally Melville's book, The Knit Stitch. I think we only had permission from the publisher to post one size. Hope that helps!
xo, Vickie
I <3 them! My 7 yr. old daughter will too, she's a mermaid pirate. ;o)
These are definitely on my to-do list!
Theresa, your daughter sounds fab! I was a pirate at that age too, and my nephews went through a pirate phase (helped along by their uncle Andy, of course)!
I'll be making these for my glamrock friend Katie.
I *love* this pattern! I'll definitely be knitting some - thanks!
I love this pattern! I will definitely be making a pair. Or two. Or three. ;-)
My daughter will LOVE these!
WELL I DID IT NOW! I WAS LOOKING AT "PURPLE SKEIN" ON YOUR SITE WHEN MY GRANDAUGHTER, AGE 13, CAME IN & I SHOWED HER THE PICTURE OF THEM. (NOT REALLY KNOWING WHAT HER REACTION WOULD BE) SHE EXCLAIMED! OH! I LOVE THEM! I REPLIED YOU DO? SHE SAID GRANDMA,IF YOU MADE THEM, I WOULD SO WEAR THEM TO SCHOOL! I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THEM IN BLACK WITH PINK TRIM THOUGH! OH THANK YOU GRANDMA! WELL I GUESS MY OTHER PROJECTS WILL BE ON HOLD FOR A LITTLE WHILE. I NEED TO GO CHECK MY STASH & GET STARTED ON THEM!
Great pattern. I made some elbow length fingerless gloves from the Regia Nation that is the psychedelic (hot pink, orange, neon green, yellow) colorway for my great niece for Christmas & she loved them. She has a birthday (11th) coming up in June & these will be just the trick!
