Art Issue
I was wandering around Barnes & Noble today looking for a copy of a book that was mentioned on Oprah, when I randomly came across the new issue of Knit.1! After I got over being annoyed that I hadn't gotten my copy in the mail yet, I "ooohed and ahhhhed" over all of the issue's technicolor goodness! This edition, an ode to Art, is filled with great projects inspired by the kitschy masters that we can't help but love--oh, how I *heart* the tribute to Frida Kahlo & the "Confessions of a Pop Art Heroine" sections! Give the issue a gander next time you're at your local news stand and don't forget to check out my interview in it, with #1 Single's Lisa Loeb!
Some of you have e-mailed requesting an errata for a couple of patterns in my kids book. Just wanted to let you know that I'm not ignoring you and that I am working on it. I'm hoping to hear back by the end of the week, from the technical editor I worked with on the book. Thanks for your patience!

Woot! The new issue looks great - I hope that means that my copy will be arriving in the mail soon :D
Good Job with the Knit1 Article. Writing because I finished knitting the Wizard Hat and today will be felting the Princess Hat. I'm going to be the best Aunt in the whole of the wide world of Aunts. Giggle. Thank you for getting the book together and out there - Auntie Kink (as the 3 year old calls me)
Will Knitty Gritty be available on DVD anytime soon? I love the show, but I miss it due to working hours! :(
Angie, the DIY folks are planning to eventually put KG on DVD, but it's not clear when that'll actually happen. I'll keep youposted! :-)--Vic
