What a Tease!

I just got a press kit for "TEASE: 50 Inspired T-Shirt Transformations By Superstars of Art, Craft & Design", a book that I contributed to. I'm so proud--along with fellow Austin Craft Mafia members, Amy Sedaris, Todd Oldham (Oh, how I *heart* his style!), Debbie Stoller and so many more amazingly prolific artists--to be a part of a project that truely embodies community and creativity. If you get a chance, take a gander at the publisher's website for the full scoop and keep your eyes peeled for the book out on shelves in April!
In other book news, Bev asked to see a picture of my laptop purse design from "Crocheted Bags On the Go!", so here is is:

I'm off to get ready for a Blackalicious show at an art gallery in East Austin. Have a good night!

I really like the way the handles on that bag are secured, nice!
I love this bag!!! My very sweet hubby bought me a laptop recently, and this is so much cooler looking than the carrying case the computer came with. Gonna have to swipe the plastic and get a copy of this book!

So, how are the crochet submissions coming for the new book????
anotherbev (still in KG withdrawal)
Thanks, Cecily!
BEV--Submissions are going well, thanks for asking! xo, Vic
I like that bag, too -- I may just have to create a knitted version, since I don't crochet!
Is that TEAST contributor Amy Sedaris, the acrtress/comedian whose brother is the humor writer? She is a HOOT! She needs to get a sitcom.
